Powertrain Electrical Triage Specialist

Job Summary:

The Powertrain Electrical Triage Engineer will collaborate with various teams to identify and resolve issues on vehicles at all build levels. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead powertrain electrical root cause analysis and determination of issues during all pilot phases.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to resolve electrical powertrain issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive issues to resolution.
  • Utilize electrical root cause tools such as CDA, CAN, CANalizer, and Canoe to analyze and troubleshoot issues.

Requirements:

  • Years of experience in automotive system and component development.
  • Powertrain and vehicle system knowledge.
  • Knowledge and hands-on use of electrical root cause tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Self-starter with a strong ability to produce results.

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
