Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the Aids Prevention Program in Prince George. As a Substance Use Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals struggling with substance use disorders.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive health care services to clients, including physical, psychosocial, and substance use assessments; HIV, HCV, and STI education, testing, and treatment; medication administration and titration; overdose response; and support and referral to other health and social services. You will also contribute to the development of client-specific care plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address complex needs.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require: registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN or RPN registrant; completion of approved addictions or substance use training or certificate program, and one year's recent related experience working with individuals with substance use disorders; BCCNM certified practice in the areas of STI Management and/or RN First Call is an asset. You must also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care.

What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary range of $78,183 - $110,439 annually, depending on experience. This includes a base salary of $65,000, plus benefits, and additional compensation for overtime hours worked.
