We are seeking an experienced Administrative Clerk to join our team at BC Women's Hospital and Health Centre. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our Reproductive Mental Health department, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule and book patient appointments, including urgent assessments and complex interdisciplinary appointments.
- Receive and register patients, ensuring accurate and complete demographic information.
- Perform referral functions, including screening, data entry, and sending out patient questionnaires.
- Maintain accurate records, including data entry, collation, and log sheets.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the Senior Director and department.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Grade 12 and two years of recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to keyboard 45 wpm and knowledge of medical terminology.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
