Head Logistics Coordinator

The Lamb Company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Head Shipper to oversee the operational logistics of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Train workers in duties and policies to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Organize and maintain inventory to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
- Oversee the loading and unloading of goods to ensure safe and efficient transportation.
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents to ensure accuracy.
- Determine the method of shipment to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments to prevent errors.
- Accurate and attention to detail.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations.
- Initiative and ability to take ownership of tasks.
- Judgement and decision-making skills.
- Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Reliability and dependability in meeting deadlines.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent position with 40 hours of work per week.
- Language of work: English.
