Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Inder's Your Independent Grocer. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of grocery clerks and shelf stockers, ensuring efficient and effective store operations.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Analyze sales data and develop strategies to increase sales and improve merchandising displays.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and minimizing stockouts and overstocking.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of retail staff, providing coaching and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
