Farm Worker Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Farm Worker to join our team at Protolight Farms Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain crops to ensure high quality and yield
  • Grade and package fruits and vegetables for market
  • Perform greenhouse cleaning and maintenance tasks
  • Assist with hand harvesting and crop management
  • Level earth and prepare soil for planting
  • Remove suckers and water sprouts from plants
  • Tie and secure plants for optimal growth
  • Clean and maintain work areas
  • Fertilize and spray crops as needed
  • Report any signs of insect or disease damage
Work Environment:

Farm workers will be working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods.

Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Language:

English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.

Work Hours:

40 to 60 hours per week.
