About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Plans Manager to join our team at Safe Roads Engineering. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and ensuring that traffic control plans and associated studies meet the requirements of contracts, provincial/city standards, and client needs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 1-5 engineers
  • Act as single point of contact with clients for traffic control plans
  • Review and seal stamped traffic control plans and studies
  • Develop contacts with contractors to become preferred provider of traffic control plans

Requirements

  • Professional Engineer registration in a Canadian province, with ability to obtain PEO registration within 6 months
  • CAD literacy (AutoCAD and RapidPlan)
  • Deep knowledge of Book 7 and/or BC MoTI TMM and/or Alberta Transportation Traffic Accommodation in Work Zones manuals
  • Excellent communication skills with clients, review agencies, external contractors, and internal staff
  • Passion for roadway safety
