Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at The Canadian Brew House (St South) Ltd. as a key member of our culinary team.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for planning, preparing, and executing menus for our restaurant, as well as overseeing kitchen operations and supervising kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare menus, including estimating food requirements and ordering supplies
  • Supervise kitchen staff and ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety
  • Manage inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Recruit and hire staff, and provide training and development opportunities
  • Organize buffets and banquets, and manage kitchen operations during special events
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent position, 32 to 40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
