Mountainview Food & Fuel is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our retail store.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively manage and coordinate the activities of sales workers to ensure excellent customer service and efficient sales floor operations.
- Authorize Return of Merchandise: Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and optimal store operations.
- Sell Merchandise: Provide exceptional customer service and promote sales of merchandise to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Prepare Reports: Compile and analyze sales data, customer feedback, and other relevant information to inform business decisions.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise in a professional and courteous manner.
- Organize and Maintain Inventory: Ensure accurate and efficient inventory management to minimize stock discrepancies and optimize sales opportunities.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Lead and motivate sales workers to achieve sales targets, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a clean and safe store environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of retail sales experience.
- Other Benefits: Parking available, permanent employment, English language, 30-40 hours per week.
