Physiotherapist Assistant

We are seeking a Physiotherapist Assistant - Massage Therapy to join our team at Physio Avantage Plus. As a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), you will play a vital role in providing high-quality massage therapy services to our clients.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and experienced team of healthcare professionals, providing expert care to individuals seeking relief from pain, injury, or stress.

This is a permanent position with a flexible schedule, offering 10-30 hours of work per week. You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including clinics and private practices.

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience.

• Administer various massage techniques, including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation methods, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, joint mobilizations, and lower-grade mobilizations.
• Explain procedures, risks, and benefits to clients, ensuring they are fully informed and comfortable with their treatment plan.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments provided, including client information, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address clients' specific needs and goals.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physiotherapists and chiropractors, to provide comprehensive care to clients.

• Certification as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) by a provincial or territorial association.
• Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
• Experience: Minimum 1 month (less than 7 months) of experience in a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information.
