Fire Protection Systems Estimator Leader

We are seeking a seasoned Fire Protection Systems Estimator to spearhead our sprinkler sales team in the North American market. Leveraging mature product lines and innovative solutions, this individual will be responsible for maintaining and developing a network of contacts and decision makers within their territory.

Working from our Toronto office, the successful candidate will primarily focus on estimating and selling contracts for fire protection systems, including sprinklers and special hazards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing detailed quotations according to established procedures and presenting them to clients;
  • Ensuring timely follow-up with clients to finalize quotations;
  • Determining cost breakdowns for all project phases as required;
  • Developing work estimates for new and renewal service contracts;
  • Creating project schedules when applicable;
  • Evaluating service contracts for profitability;
  • Designing technical presentations regarding fire protection systems;
  • Participating in site meetings and promotional activities, including NFPA, NFSA, AFSA, ASPE, and CASA events.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A college diploma in fire protection, building mechanics, or civil engineering, or a high school diploma combined with relevant experience;
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience;
  • Proficiency in standards and codes governing automatic fire extinguisher system design and installation;
  • Knowledge of products used in fire protection;
  • A valid driver's license;
  • The ability to work independently;
  • Strong customer service skills.
