Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Zaika Tastes of India Ltd is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and manage a team of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as estimating ingredient and supply requirements.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our high quality control standards, addressing any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, as well as preparing and submitting reports as required.
  • Work Schedules: Establish and manage work schedules to ensure that our kitchen and dining areas are fully staffed during peak periods.
Support for Youth and Indigenous Workers:
  • Cultural Competency Training: Provide cultural competency training and awareness to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Youth Awareness Training: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.

Requirements: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment. English language proficiency is required.
