About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plumber Assistant to join our team at Power Frost AC & Heating Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Construction Materials
  • Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials
  • Perform Routine Maintenance Work
  • Clean Up Chemical Spills and Other Contaminants
  • Remove Rubble and Other Debris at Construction Sites
Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail and a strong work ethic. As a Plumber Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our construction sites.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience: Will train on the job
  • Work Setting: Various locations
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, attention to detail
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Assist with Immediate Settlement Needs: Housing, transportation, storage, childcare, winter clothing, etc.
  • Support Social and Labour Market Integration: Facilitating access to community resources, language training, skills training, etc.
  • Recruit Newcomers and Refugees: Displaced by conflict or natural disaster (e.g. Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.)
  • Support Foreign Credential Recognition: Assist with recognition of foreign credentials
  • Offer Mentorship Programs: Pair newcomers and refugees with experienced employees
Support for Youths
  • Offer Mentorship, Coaching, and Networking Opportunities: For youth
Support for Indigenous People
  • Offer Mentorship, Coaching, and Networking Opportunities: For Indigenous workers
Support for Visible Minorities
  • Offer Mentorship Programs: Pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees
Work Terms
