Service Advisor Job Description

Budds' Group of Companies is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team in Oakville, Hamilton, or Kitchener. As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling Service Appointments: Coordinate with customers to schedule service appointments, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Opening Work Orders: Accurately document customer issues and needs, creating a clear understanding of the required service or repair.
  • Recommending Services: Provide customers with expert advice on necessary maintenance and repairs, ensuring they understand the work required and the associated costs.
  • Communicating with Customers: Keep customers informed of repair progress, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Collaborating with Technicians: Work closely with service technicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and efficient repairs.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Maintain knowledge of technical and performance information on all vehicles serviced by our dealership.
Requirements:
  • Customer Service Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in an automotive dealership.
  • Technical Knowledge: Basic mechanical and automotive product knowledge is an asset.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in dealership computer systems and software.
