Service Advisor

Budds' Group of Companies is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team in Oakville, Hamilton, or Kitchener. As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support.
Key Responsibilities:- Scheduling Service Appointments: Coordinate with customers to schedule service appointments, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
- Opening Work Orders: Accurately document customer issues and needs, creating a clear understanding of required services.
- Recommending Services: Provide customers with expert advice on necessary maintenance and repairs, ensuring they understand the work required.
- Securing Customer Agreement: Obtain customer approval for repairs, outlining costs and estimated completion times.
- Effective Communication: Regularly update customers on repair progress, communicating additional work requirements as needed.
- Warranty and Maintenance: Explain warranty policies and factory-recommended maintenance schedules to customers.
- Technical Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on technical information for all vehicles serviced by our dealership.
- Customer Satisfaction: Encourage vehicle service and maintenance by advising customers on car care and the value of regular maintenance.
- Customer Service Experience: Minimum 1 year of related customer service experience.
- Automotive Knowledge: Previous experience as a Service Advisor or Appointment Coordinator in an automotive dealership is an asset.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills, with knowledge of in-house dealership computer systems an asset.
- Team Player: Highly effective listening, communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
