About the Job

This is a full-time position located in Bedford, Nova Scotia. As a Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Specialist, you will be responsible for recruiting skilled trades and labor positions for our projects across Canada.

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct full-cycle recruitment of craft positions to meet project needs, including sourcing qualified candidates, developing job postings, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and providing new hire orientations.
  • Participate in the hiring process for temporary foreign employees, including the LMIA process, facilitating employee introductions, and assisting with settlement arrangements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires, including completing paperwork, online training, and orientations.
  • Collaborate with field management teams to ensure project sites are staffed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in human resources, preferably in construction, industrial maintenance, or similar organizations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with international recruitment, the LMIA process, and Canadian employment laws and regulations.
