About the Role

The Motivator is a critical role in the success of our GoodLife Fitness Clubs. As a front desk expert, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment that helps Members achieve their fitness goals. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for all Members and Potential Members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm and welcoming greeting to every Member and Potential Member.
  • Check Members in for their workouts and assist with any questions or concerns.
  • Direct Potential Members to the appropriate services or amenities.
  • Handle incoming calls and messages in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist Members with questions about the FitFix and Cardio machines.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of Memberships and Club services, and be able to sell these products when opportunities arise.
  • Provide Fit-Fix Starter sessions for new and current Members.
  • Complete Club runs and cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Complete any other tasks required to provide an exceptional experience for Members and guests.

Requirements

  • CPR-A & AED Certification
  • Must be Smart Tan certified within 3 months of employment
  • Interpersonal Savvy: Relates well to all kinds of people and builds constructive relationships.
  • Customer Focus: Dedicated to meeting the expectations of internal and external customers.
  • Team Contribution: Always helpful to the rest of the team.
  • Approachability: Easy to approach and talk to, with excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the fitness industry
  • Previous customer service and sales experience an asset
