Job Title: VP eFX Trading

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP eFX Trading to manage and run our electronic trading platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the electronic risk book, performing data analytics, and working with the business and quant teams to develop new analytics tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the electronic risk book to ensure optimal trading performance
  2. Perform data analytics to identify areas for improvement and optimize profitability
  3. Work with the business and quant teams to develop new analytics tools and strategies
  4. Collaborate with the trading and quant group to generate ideas for increasing profitability and volumes
  5. Work with technical support to resolve any issues with the eFX trading platform
  6. Coordinate with internal teams to onboard new clients and implement new business initiatives
  7. Serve as a liaison between the electronic FX desk and the broader FX business

Requirements:

  1. Dedicated work ethic and strong team player skills
  2. 3+ years of eFX trading experience and a strong understanding of FX market microstructure
  3. Technical expertise in Python programming and kdb/q experience is an asset
  4. Strong business analysis skills, problem-solving skills, and initiative
  5. Self-starter with a motivation to improve and develop the business
  6. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  8. Works well under pressure and can multi-task
  9. Some travel involved in this role (maximum 5% of time on an annual basis)

Education: Technical degree preferred (engineering, computer science, stats, or related degree)
