Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Petro Canada. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and sales performance.
  • Assign sales workers to duties, ensuring effective use of resources and optimal sales coverage.
  • Hire, train, and develop staff, providing coaching and feedback to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Teach interest or professional development courses to staff, promoting their growth and development.
  • Exhibit designers plan and develop permanent and temporary or moveable exhibits and displays for museum exhibitions, trade shows, conventions, retail spaces, and other exhibitions.
  • Order merchandise, authorize returns, and establish work schedules to ensure efficient operations.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing insights to drive business growth.
  • Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Oversee payroll administration, ensuring accurate and timely payment to staff.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Accurate and detail-oriented, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
