Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Your Dollar Store with More. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales floor staff, ensuring a high level of customer service and sales performance.
  • Manage store inventory, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
  • Process sales transactions, handle customer complaints, and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with the store management team to achieve sales targets, implement visual merchandising plans, and maintain store appearance.
  • Recruit, train, and develop sales floor staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Monitor and control store expenses, including labor costs, inventory, and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of retail management experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, retail management, or a related field an asset.
