Job Overview

The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency seeks a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join their Finance Branch. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing expert financial services across various branches within the Agency.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis and Planning:

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis for programs and policies to inform strategic decision making.
  • IDentify, design, and implement innovative financial solutions to drive business growth.
  • Develop and maintain sound financial planning and management practices to ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement and optimize agency systems.

Requirements and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will require a strong understanding of budgeting and forecasting principles, Public Sector Accounting Standards, best practices, and financial accounting.

You will also need to demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, building positive working relationships and ensuring deadlines, goals, and objectives are met.

About the Role

This is a full-time position offering an estimated salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
