We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Marble Slab Creamery. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and general ledgers.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Tax Preparation: Prepare and submit tax returns, including GST/HST and other applicable taxes.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Education: College diploma or equivalent in accounting or a related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
- Skills: Strong organizational and analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and excellent communication skills.
