Job Title: Bookkeeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Marble Slab Creamery. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and general ledgers.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
