About Spark Power

At Spark Power, a leading provider of end-to-end electrical services and operations and maintenance services to the industrial, utility, and renewable asset markets in North America, we are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join our Oakville team. Our primary goal is to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions in software applications and business processes within the Spark Power organization.

As a member of our team, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders both internally and externally to ensure the optimization of applications and business processes that support our organization. You will be part of a team that maintains and develops a portfolio of applications and integrations that aligns with our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Drive the collection and translation of business requirements into detailed system and technical requirements.
  2. Facilitate progress on small to medium-sized projects.
  3. Understand and contribute to the overall design required for application enhancements.
  4. Foster relationships across the organization; collaborate regularly with various departments and operational teams to drive value and demonstrate transparency.
  5. Act as a key resource in various stages of SDLC and Project Life Cycle.
  6. Maintain objectivity with own work to ensure solutions are aligned and consistent with business objectives.
  7. Support in the resolution of assigned tickets and application-related issues in a timely manner.
  8. Raise and escalate any issues and concerns with IT management and/or business process owners.
  9. Make data-driven decisions and recommendations.
  10. Develop and maintain documentation as required.
