Human Resource Optimization Specialist

Job Summary
The Human Resources Specialist plays a pivotal role in optimizing the effectiveness of the plant organization by enhancing employee capabilities and talents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic HR guidance to management and employees to ensure fair and equitable implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Audit due diligence to guarantee adherence to provincial employment standards.
- Facilitate conflict resolution issues and provide leadership consultation and team member advocacy.
- Conduct daily feedback sessions with team members to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and manage clearly defined deliverables for HR team scorecard and assist in the development and auditing of Human Resources systems in the plant.
Requirements
- 4-year Degree
- 0-5 years' experience in the application of HR systems or education in HR discipline with co-op, part-time or internship experience in HR.
- Knowledge of union &/or non-union environments as well as the Ontario Human Rights and ESA legislation.
