Job Summary:

As a Healthcare Security Officer with Paladin Security, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors at our Waterford Hospital facility. This is a full-time position that requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol the interior and exterior of the facility to prevent unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment.
• Respond to alarms and emergency calls for assistance, and provide support to patients, staff, and visitors as needed.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential security threats and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, including reports and logs, and provide regular updates to management.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a security or law enforcement role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Valid security certification and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and patient care.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
