Team Leader, adidas Retail Store, Scarborough Town Centre

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our adidas Retail Store team in Scarborough Town Centre. As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the sales, profitability, and operational goals of the store by guiding our hourly associates in their day-to-day procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate hourly associates to achieve excellent customer service and maximize sales.
- Conduct training presentations on product knowledge, store activities, and job duties to ensure associates are equipped to meet store objectives.
- Assist with staffing and labor cost control standards, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Develop and maintain a high level of adidas service by effectively utilizing customer service, training, and communication tools.
- Perform sales, customer service, and merchandising duties to maintain needed staff coverage and lead by example.
- Direct the performance of store upkeep duties and ensure the highest level of adidas service is given to each customer.
- Use selling techniques to enhance salesmanship and reach store and position sales goals.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Three to six months of retail experience preferred.
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends, evenings, and statutory holidays.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and decision-making skills.
Working Conditions:
The employee is regularly required to talk or hear, frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 12 kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 34 kg.
