Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Designer to join our team at itec group, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in custom automation equipment and a mastery of SolidWorks. As a Senior Mechanical Designer, you will play a key role in designing innovative automated systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the highest level of precision and quality.
Responsibilities:
* Design and develop custom automation equipment for various industries
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
* Develop and maintain technical documentation and designs
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in mechanical design
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
* 7+ years of experience in mechanical design, specifically in custom automation equipment
* Proficiency in SolidWorks
* Experience in automation for specific industries such as automotive, food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, or packaging
* Knowledge of PLCs, robotics, or electrical design
