Mechanical Drafting Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Draftsperson to join our team at SPH Engineering Inc. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating detailed engineering designs and drawings, developing design sketches, and preparing construction specifications, costs, and material estimates.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare engineering designs and drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk REVIT
- Develop and prepare design sketches to visualize product concepts
- Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates for projects
- Write technical reports and specifications for clients and stakeholders
- Examine drawings for conformity and errors, ensuring high-quality output
- Consult with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in mechanical drafting and design
- Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to distinguish between colours and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
