Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Ceridian HCM, Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing client-centered strategies to drive business growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to service a book of business and contribute to the work of a multi-disciplined service team.
  • Exhibit proven competence in all Account Associate III duties and knowledge requirements.
  • Assist in team mentorship programs and participate in team selling processes, including finalist interviews and RFP responses.
  • Exhibit competency with the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and receive and respond to client inquiries, including benefit and claim questions and issues.
  • Review client coverage contracts and amendments for accuracy and promote a professional image of Ceridian HCM, Inc. (both internal and external).
  • Act as a liaison between clients and carriers, manage and negotiate third-party vendor relationships and contracts on behalf of clients, and collect fees, reconcile, and resolve any outstanding balances within 60 days of invoicing date.
  • Comply with agency management system data standards and data integrity, entering and maintaining complete and accurate information.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Six (6) or more years related work experience.
  • Valid insurance license.
  • Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal.
  • Baseline understanding of self-insurance and alternative funding arrangements.
  • High level of Employee Benefits product and benefit administration knowledge.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills.
  • Great leadership, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Good presentation skills and ability to conduct open enrollment meetings.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize work for multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
