Job Summary

FUTURE TECH GLASS & CLOSET ORGANIZERS LTD is seeking a skilled Glass Installation Specialist to join our team. As a Glass Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing glass products, including windows, doors, and mirrors, in commercial and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each installation
  • Measure, mark, and cut glass to ensure a precise fit
  • Position and secure panes in frames, ensuring a secure and watertight seal
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products
  • Install door, window, and other hardware
  • Prepare shop drawings to ensure accurate installation
  • Repair glass doors and other glass structures
  • Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment
  • Transport cases of glass safely and efficiently
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in glass installation
  • Basic security clearance
  • Ability to work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
  • Physically demanding role requiring handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods
