Job Title: Glass Installation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Glass Installation Specialist to join our team at Alliance Glass Doors Inc.

Job Summary:

The Glass Installation Specialist will be responsible for installing glass and other materials in various settings, including residential and commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of glass installation techniques and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each installation
  • Measure, mark, and cut glass to ensure a precise fit
  • Position and secure panes in frames, ensuring a secure and watertight seal
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products
  • Install door, window, and other hardware, ensuring proper alignment and function
  • Repair glass doors and other glass structures, using specialized tools and techniques
  • Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment, as needed
  • Transport cases of glass, ensuring safe and secure handling
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in glass installation or a related field
  • Basic security clearance
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Working Conditions:
