Platinum Produce is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Greenhouse Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our horticulture team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our greenhouse facilities, ensuring the highest quality crop production and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the work of greenhouse staff, including nursery and greenhouse workers.
- Develop and implement production schedules and procedures to optimize crop yields and quality.
- Monitor and maintain equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
- Collaborate with the horticulture team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance productivity and product quality.
- Prepare and submit production reports to management.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in greenhouse or nursery operations.
- Proven track record of supervising and coordinating teams.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
