Greenhouse Horticulturist

We are seeking a reliable and physically demanding Greenhouse Worker to join our team at Platinum Produce. As a Greenhouse Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and productivity of our hydroponic horticultural products, including bell peppers, greenhouse tomatoes, and greenhouse vegetables.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean and maintain the greenhouse environment, including pruning trees, shrubs, and plants.
- Assist in harvesting vegetables, including hand harvesting and tying and securing plants.
- Level earth to fine grade specifications and assist in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination are essential for this role.
- Transport yourself to and from work, as we do not provide transportation.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with up to 9 kg (20 lbs) of weight handling.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential for this role.
- Ability to work 40 to 55 hours per week, with a permanent employment opportunity.
- Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
