Compensation:

Our Data Scientist, Decisions role comes with an estimated salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer extended health and dental coverage options, life insurance, disability benefits, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our Rider & Safety Science team. As a key member of this team, you will leverage data-driven insights to inform business decisions, build algorithms that power our products, and drive growth and efficiency initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage data analytics frameworks to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, marketers, designers, and operators to translate data insights into decisions and action
  • Design and analyze online experiments; communicate results and act on launch decisions
  • Develop analytical frameworks to monitor business and product performance

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, economics, applied math, operations research, or engineering (advanced degrees preferred)
  • 3+ years of industry experience in a data science or analytics role
  • Proficiency in SQL, able to write structured and efficient queries on large data sets
  • Experience in programming, especially with data science and visualization libraries in Python or R (helpful)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, and ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional partners
