Job Description

This role bridges the client's business strategy to measurable outcomes by providing clear connections through reporting. You will work with clients to develop data strategies that meet their business needs, considering their unique data assets and tools, and the long-term effectiveness of the solution. As a strategic thinker, you will guide data engineers and analysts to execute on the data strategies developed with clients, and also be willing to roll up your sleeves and run queries or build dashboards when needed.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal sales, external sales, channel partners, and Decision Foundry leadership to lead pre-sales conversations and solutions.
  • Help clients identify key metrics to support business goals and gather data supporting those metrics.
  • Gather technical and analytical requirements from clients regarding their data needs.
  • Demonstrate deep technical skills to explain tool capabilities and functionalities, as well as interoperability across systems.
  • Provide visualization requirements to data analysts to create reports and dashboards presenting key metrics.
  • Develop best practices and processes for metrics, data management, and/or data visualization based on experience.
  • Manage direct and indirect reports as needed, working within a matrixed global organization.
Work Breakdown
  • 25% - Direct client interaction, gathering requirements, communicating progress, and providing deliverables.
  • 25% - Data strategy development, identifying appropriate metrics, data architecture, and data sources to achieve business objectives.
  • 25% - Pre-sales engagements to steer opportunities for reporting and insights projects using Salesforce tools and data engineering platforms.
  • 15% - Thought leadership to create conversation around reporting best practices.
  • 10% - Identify growth opportunities for personal and professional development.
Requirements
  • Minimum seven years of experience in analytics, revenue operations, consulting, or enterprise software, including demonstrated stakeholder management.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, strong interpersonal and analytical abilities, and ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States or Canada without sponsorship.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Data Engineering & Business Intelligence ecosystem.
  • Several Salesforce certifications.
Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $125,000 to $150,000 per year, plus a discretionary bonus. In addition, Decision Foundry offers competitive benefits including medical, dental, and retirement options.
