Job Title: Physiotherapist - Home Care Specialist

Job Summary:

Bayshore Healthcare is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as a Home Care Specialist. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to clients in their homes, promoting independence and improving their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical abilities and develop personalized treatment plans to address their needs.
  • Provide one-on-one physiotherapy sessions to clients in their homes, focusing on exercises and strategies to improve mobility, strength, and flexibility.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as occupational therapists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Document client progress and treatment plans, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in home care physiotherapy.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
  • Current registration with the applicable provincial College of Physiotherapists.
  • Experience working in home care or geriatric settings an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
