We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a Dispatcher Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our trucking operations.

Job Summary

This is a permanent position with a salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment, as well as maintaining work records and logs, providing customer service, and dispatching personnel according to schedules and work orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vehicle movements, cargo, and other relevant information.
  • Coordinate the activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment to ensure efficient and safe transportation of goods.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, ensuring that vehicles and equipment are properly assigned and utilized.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with other departments to identify and resolve operational issues, improving overall performance and productivity.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in the trucking industry.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and working under pressure.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
