The base pay range for this position in Canada is $170k-$200k per year, with additional compensation possible based on qualifications, experience, and performance.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Director of Technical Support to lead our customer-facing technical support team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction through effective team management, resource allocation, and performance monitoring. Key responsibilities include:

  • Building a high-performing team by leading recruitment, development, and retention initiatives.
  • Overseeing work intake, resource allocation, and personnel management, including hiring and development programs.
  • Cultivating strong relationships with cross-functional teams to address customer issues and optimize product offerings.
  • Developing and executing strategies to enhance technical support efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.

This role requires a proven track record of leading and managing high-performing teams, as well as experience working within a SaaS environment. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of customer service excellence, process improvements, and delivering tangible results in fast-paced settings.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience leading enterprise technical support organizations across multiple regions.
  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Proficiency in working within a SaaS (Software as a Service) environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and nurture partnerships and trusted relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Capacity to excel in dynamic environments and handle complex customer issues effectively.
