About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead our team. As a Department Manager, you will oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project budgets and review mechanical capital cost estimates.
  • Lead and guide the mechanical engineering team, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes innovation and high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement technical strategies to drive cost-efficiency and improve outcomes.
  • Collaborate with project teams to review and approve discipline-specific plans.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • At least 15 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the Minerals & Metals industry.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng).
  • A proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously or leading large-scale projects.
