**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director, Urban Planning to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. As a leader in the Architecture, Design & Planning industry, our company has a strong reputation for delivering high-end projects and promoting sustainable development throughout North America.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Lead the Urban Planning department and develop strategies for sustainable, environmentally supportive, and detailed urban planning principles
* Collaborate with developers and understand Provincial and Federal regulations around planning and urban planning processes
* Develop policies and planning practices, and have experience working in a consulting environment
* Manage projects from start to finish, with a focus on placemaking and development

**Requirements**

* Bachelor's degree in Urban Geography, Urban Planning, Architecture, or Landscape Architecture
* Master's in Urban Planning
* 10+ years of experience in Urban Planning, with 5+ years leading teams in the Urban Planning and Design sector
* Excellent technical knowledge and design experience, with a portfolio of projects based in Ontario
* Strong communication and presentation skills
