About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Kwality Sweets & Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and training to ensure that staff are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Supervise staff in various areas of responsibility, including front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns and provide excellent customer service.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations.

Requirements:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
