About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Representative to join our team at Coast Capital Savings. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized banking solutions to our members, including sales and service support for our products and services.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to achieve sales and referral targets in a needs-based sales environment.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our members, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date on our products and services, including our Low Fee More for Me Mutual Funds, Term deposits, RRSPs, and electronic services like our internet banking.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in financial services.

Requirements:

  • Minimum three years of experience in a bank or credit union, preferably with a focus on lending and investments.
  • Post-secondary education in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Mutual Funds accreditation, such as the Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course.
  • A warm, friendly, and approachable attitude, with a demonstrated passion for putting clients first.
  • Above-average digital literacy and the ability to learn new technology quickly.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with a wide variety of people.
