Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Heritage Mountain Daycare. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Child Development: Assess children's development and create personalized learning plans to support their growth and well-being.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a clean and organized environment, and assist with cooking duties as needed.
  • Program Development: Design and implement child-care programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the daycare equipment is well-maintained and in good working condition.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience working with children is an asset.
  • Certifications: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
  • Security: Criminal record check.

  • Excellent Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and community service providers.
