Description:

As a Registered Nurse, you will utilize your critical thinking and problem-solving skills to provide a wide range of nursing services to patients, families, and communities. You will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure safe, quality patient-centered care, reflecting the shared vision and values of Alberta Health Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing services to patients, families, and communities
  • Utilize nursing processes, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure safe, quality patient-centered care
  • Support an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited nursing education program
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)

Additional Required Qualifications:

  • Current certification for IV, defibrillation, and BGM
  • Demonstrates ability to work in a highly acute, very busy multi-disciplinary setting
  • Must demonstrate organization, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferred ACLS, TNCC, and rural experience
