Critical Coordinator for Emergency Response Excellence

Cameco Corporation, a leading global provider of uranium fuel, is seeking an experienced Critical Coordinator to join its Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) department in Saskatoon.
As a Critical Coordinator, you will play a key role in assisting Cameco's efforts in energizing a clean air world. The successful candidate will have 8 years of extensive knowledge of fire protection, industrial firefighting, mine rescue, and wildland firefighting, as well as certifications such as Technical Rescue Certification (NFPA 1006), Hazardous Materials Certification (NFPA 1072), Industrial Firefighting Certifications (NFPA 1081), and Medical First Responder Certificate.

The RoleIn this critical coordinator position, you will be responsible for coordinating the consistent delivery of required training for Emergency Response Team (ERT) members, establishing and advancing processes to support standardized fire protection, emergency response, and mine rescue programs, providing oversight and coordination of third-party assessments, and developing and maintaining training and procedures for the Emergency Response, Mine Rescue, and Fire Protection programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Technical Rescue Certification (NFPA 1006)
- Hazardous Materials Certification (NFPA 1072)
- Industrial Firefighting Certifications (NFPA 1081)
- Medical First Responder Certificate
- 8 years of experience in fire protection, industrial firefighting, mine rescue, and wildland firefighting
