Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Child Care Director to lead our childcare facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a proven track record of providing exceptional care and education to children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership
    • Develop and implement effective operational strategies to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the childcare facility.
    • Oversee the management of staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Education and Care
    • Design and deliver high-quality educational programs that meet the needs of children aged [insert age range].
    • Ensure that all children receive a safe and nurturing environment that promotes their physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
    • Provide regular updates and progress reports to parents on their child's development and well-being.
  • Administrative and Financial Management
    • Manage the facility's budget and financial resources to ensure effective use of resources.
    • Oversee the administration of the facility, including HR, finance, and facilities management.

Requirements

  • Qualifications
    • Valid Level 3 Early Childhood Educator Certification.
    • First Aid certification.
    • Clear criminal record check.
  • Skills and Experience
    • Proven experience in a leadership role in a childcare or education setting.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
