Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at World of Joy Child Care Centre. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Education
    • Provide high-quality care and education to infants and toddlers, including bathing, diapering, and feeding.
    • Develop and implement engaging storytime sessions to foster a love for reading.
    • Encourage children to express their creativity through various art forms, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
    • Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Observation and Reporting
    • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare detailed reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
    • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Participate in staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
    • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive team environment.
  • Environment and Safety
    • Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes the well-being of children.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1) certification.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Punctuality and reliability.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
    • Strong values and ethics.
