Teaching Position in Computers, IT, Engineering, and Robotics

We are seeking a qualified educator to join our team at Khalsa Secondary School as a Computers, IT, Engineering, and Robotics Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Education and be certified to teach in British Columbia. They will be responsible for teaching a variety of courses, including ADST - COMPUTER STUDIES 10, ADST - Electronics and Robotics 9, and COMPUTER PROGRAMMING 11. The teacher will also be required to plan according to BC's new curriculum and be eligible to be employed in Canada.

Responsibilities
  • Teach a range of courses in Computers, IT, Engineering, and Robotics
  • Plan and deliver lessons according to BC's new curriculum
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching and learning
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Education from a Canadian institution
  • Certification to teach in British Columbia
  • Eligibility to be employed in Canada
  • Ability to plan according to BC's new curriculum
