Business Development Executive

NFI, a leading global bus manufacturer, is seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead our ADI NA operations. This senior leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving business growth and profitability.
OverviewAlexander Dennis, a world-renowned bus manufacturer, is committed to excellence in design, manufacturing, and customer service. Our team works tirelessly to deliver high-quality products that meet the evolving needs of public transportation agencies worldwide.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing annual and long-range operating plans, ensuring the achievement of sales, profitability, working capital, cash flow, and business goals. This individual will champion collaboration between teams and departments, promoting efficient operations and effective supply management practices.
About the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned executive with prior leadership experience in sales, production, or aftermarket customer service. The ideal candidate will possess a Business or Engineering degree and have a strong ability to delegate complex projects effectively. A combination of related business training and experience may also be considered.
This position involves up to 10% international travel, requiring flexibility and adaptability. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Alexander Dennis and driving business success.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute annual and long-range operating plans to achieve top-line and bottom-line results.
- Oversee departments and teams within ADI NA, fostering collaboration and effective supply management practices.
- Lead the direction and coordination of external manufacturing third-party build partners to meet quality and delivery expectations.
- Formulate operations initiatives and standards for safety, quality, cost control, and employee relations.
- Analyze performance and productivity, ensuring effective schedule attainment, delivery, and business plans are maintained.
- Direct approval process relating to manpower planning, hiring, and capital expenditures.
